GoodHabit is designed with privacy in mind. We collect only the information needed to make the app work well for you.
When you use the app, we may collect the habits and progress you choose to record, your preferences (such as reminder schedules), and basic usage data needed for the app to function.
Unless you contact us directly, we do not require you to create an account or provide personal identifying information to use GoodHabit.
2. How we use your information
We use the information you provide to deliver and improve the app, including tracking your habits and progress, sending the reminders you request, and fixing technical issues.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your habit data for advertising profiles.
3. Storage and security
Your habit data is stored on your device whenever possible and processed only as needed to operate the service.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
4. Third-party services
GoodHabit is distributed through the Google Play Store, which is operated by Google LLC. Please review Google's privacy policy to understand how they handle data related to your device and downloads.
We may use analytics or crash-reporting services to understand how the app is used and identify problems. These services receive technical data only and are bound by their own privacy policies.
5. Your choices
You control your habit data. You may edit or delete your habits and progress at any time within the app, and you can uninstall the app to remove locally stored data.
You can manage notification and reminder permissions through your device settings.
6. Children's privacy
GoodHabit is a general-purpose habit tracking app and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the date below and, if the changes are significant, we will provide additional notice within the app.
